INFORMATION ABOUT THE SURVEYS

• Three national representative surveys were
  carried out in April 2006, November 2006 and
  February 2007.
• Overall, 4,200 Georgian residents aged 18 years
  and over were interviewed face-to-face. The
  margin of error does not exceed three percent.
• In April 2006 and in February 2007 the surveys
  was carried out on behalf of International
  Republican Institute (USA) and in November 2006
  the survey was carried out on behalf of the
  Embassy of Republic of Lithuania in Georgia.
• IRI surveys were funded by the United States
  Agency for International Development.
• IRI studies were designed, coordinated and
  analyzed by Baltic Surveys / The Gallup
  Organization, Lithuania (Dr. R.Alisauskiene) and
  M.Lenzi (IRI). November survey was coordinated
  by Baltic Surveys / The Gallup Organization.
• The fieldwork was carried out by the Institute of
  Polling and Marketing, Georgia.
