Qualifications

• Provided in Criteria for Registration (p. 15)
• Appropriate graduate degree or
• Current CFP Certification plus a bachelors
  degree in a related field or
• Current CFP Certification plus a bachelors
  degree and significant experience related to the
  course content
• Bachelors degree is minimum requirement.

• It is important to realize that an individual can
  meet the qualifications and not have any
  experience in teaching.
• It is also important to realize that being a
  subject matter expert does not automatically
  translate into the ability to teach
• Faculty training to be discussed later.

Interview Process

• Receive resume and prior teaching experience
• If possible, sit in on a class or training
  session prior to hiring individuals
• Check references from former students

Contracts

• Sample Contract provided
• Determine salary based on the competition and the
  geographical area
• Pay per session, not for the entire course
• Include documentation of your expectations
• Provide grounds for termination or cancellation.
