  • Students will create a time line to show the
    different tribes of the Native Americans
  • Students will learn how the Native Americans were

People In Societies
  • Students will be introduced to the Native
    American Culture in general.
  • Students will learn why the Native Americans
    place so much emphasis on clothing, beads, and
    jewelry.
  • Students will create their own beaded necklaces
    and explain why it is symbolic to them.

    Americans are similar to themselves and write a
    paragraph about the similarities.
  • Students will discuss the differences about the
    Native Americans and themselves and create a Venn
    diagram to show both the similarities and
    differences.

Citizenship Rights and Responsibilities

    important to the natives.
  • Students will talk about the meaning of the
    dominant five colors that the Native Americans
    use red, white, black, green, and yellow.
    Students will be able to paint their faces using
    these colors.
