2Setting Class Defaults
- The process of setting the class defaults must be
completed for each course you teach.
Highlight the course number and click on the
Teacher Grade Book icon (shown circled at right).
3Setting Class Defaults
- From the Menu Bar at the top of your screen
select Gradebook Class Defaults
The Course Default Edit screen will display as
shown to the right.

- Set the defaults settings as shown to the right.
- If you are not using skills scale, leave the
skills scale field blank. - When exiting this screen press OK. DO NOT press
cancel even if no changes were made.

- Posting Grades from Grade Book(For those
teachers who have been entering daily scores in
STI Grade Book)
6Posting Grades From Grade Book
- Select the course whose grades you are posting
and then click on the Grade Book icon. - Click on the Post Scores to SSTS icon.
7Posting Grades From Grade Book
- At the Posting Grades confirmation dialog box,
click on Post. - At the Notice dialog box, click on OK.
8Posting Grades From Grade Book
- You may post your grades as many times as
necessary, until your school office closes the
Allow Posting option. - You may view/change your grades or add comments
through the Manual Grade Entry option (See Step 3
Instructions). If you manually change grades,
your numeric scores in your Grade Book will not
change . If you repost, you will override any
manual grade entries made however your comments
will remain.

- Manual Grade Entry(For those teachers who have
not entered daily scores in STI Grade Book)
10Manual Grade Entry
- At the Classroom Module dialog box, select the
course whose grades you want to manually enter
and then click on the Manual Grade Entry icon.

- Choose the Term/Quarter. (Note If a
term/quarter is not selected, student names will
not be shown)
To enter scores for multiple students, put a
check mark in the Cycle box, highlight the
first student, and click the Edit button.
12Manual Grade Entry
- At the Grade Edit dialog box, complete the
following steps
- Enter student letter grade
- Enter comments by either number or description
(Note You may enter up to two comments. - Enter any notes.
- Click on the Save button.(Note if you have
chosen the cycle method, after you click save,
you will immediately go to the next student
13Final Notes
- If you have a grade change after the window for
posting has been closed, turn in the grade change
information to your office.
