Noun- a person, place, thing, or idea.
Examples boy, girl, Mr. Wilson, church,
Missouri, imagination, thought

Types of Nouns
Common Noun- ordinary, everyday object(bike,
ball, fish)
Proper Noun- A specific person, place, or
idea(Mr. Fisher, Jimmy, St. Louis,
Missouri) Concrete Noun- an object that
physically exists(rock, ship, car, Amy) Abstract
Noun- cant touch, see, feel, hear, or taste
