Sandwich is currently assessing its current
status and ways to growing its business. There
are various factors that contribute to the
current situation of the fast food business.
Lately, the owner of Murphys is seeking the
service of KUIBC Consulting Limited to come up
with ways to analyse the current status of the
shop and make recommendations on how to achieve
the desired outcome. Increasing customer
base To do so, KUIBC Consulting Limited will
require an analysis of the location, the product
line and other variables which will contribute to
the task in hand. The only limitation given by
the management of Murphys is that relocation
should not be included in the analysis and
recommendation due to limited budget. Because of
the magnitude and importance of this project, the
KUIBC management team decided to subcontract the
project to 10 competing firms under its umbrella
to come up with the best way for Murphys Hotdog
Sandwich to increase its customer base.
3- Murphys Hotdog Sandwich
- Task
- The task for the 10 teams is to utilise all its
resources to come up with the way for Murphys to
move forward. It is up to each team how they
develop and execute their strategies. All teams
must be reminded of the single limitation given
by Murphys relocation must be considered as
part of the strategy. - Deadline
- The deadline for the best strategy is no later
than October 10th two weeks from today. Each
team is responsible on how they will present
their findings and recommendations. Also, each
team is to present two outcomes - Realistic strategy considering the budget
constraint and no-relocation policy - 2. Creative strategy disregarding the limitation.
In other words, thing big and think out of the
box
