Key technology advancements

• Key Advancements
• There is a requirement for a higher level access
  point to the Grid, as an entry at the Target
  System is too low level. What is missing is a
  high-level service, which can manage the multiple
  invocations of TSS, and other services. The
  project will supply this as a Workflow
  Orchestrator Service (WOS) .

A-WARE possible collaboaration areas

• The A-WARE view is related to A-WARE technology
  components
• workflow management of TSS invocations
• user focused workflow orchestration
• a repository to store workflows
• a workflow design application
• a portal presentation layer
• Therefore the workflow one is the main
  collaboration area for the project

A-WARE CT1 technical working groups

• For the previous reasons A-WARE could actively
  contribute in
• The TG3 group ( workflow )
• But it is also interested in
• TG1 ( Basic Grid Architecture )
• TG6 ( Trust and Security )

• In conclusion the guiding principle of the
  project will be to exploit and leverage the
  maturity of Unicore/GS developing a technology
  able to easily widen the adoption of Grid
  technology via a web thin client approach.
