The Test of a TRUE Christian 1Jn.24-11
  • I am a Christian.
  • I am going to heaven.
  • I belong to Christ
  • I do what Christ tells me to do.
  • I learn to love God more more.
  • I live as Christ did.
  • I loves one another with agape love no offence
    given or taken.
  • Confession with our mouths testimonies of Gods
    love forgiveness
  • Proclaim our Faith in the promises of God
  • Profess your belief in Christ in words deeds.
  • I am obedient to Gods Word His instructions
    for my life
  • The example for living my life is that of Jesus

The Test of a FALSE Christian 1Jn.24-11
  • Does not do what Christ tells him to. (v4)
  • Anyone who dislikes his brothers sisters
    still in darkness under satans control
    bidding. (v9)
  • Loves the evil of this world more than the light
    of Christ. (verse 15 - 16)
  • Evil world is fading away (v17)
  • Disobedient to Gods word (any of it!)
  • Holds a grudge unforgiveness in his/her heart.
  • Sexual crazes, buys everything for appeals sake
    (fashion freak), pride from wealth, position
    power.
  • These things turn to dust have no eternal
    benefit.
  • People who follow them will not see God but
    will live in eternal darkness.

End Time, Anti-Christ, Holy Spirit
  • John proclaims that the end time is approaching.
    (v 18)
  • John defines Anti-Christ as people who are
    Against Christ, who were in the Church, but who
    left because they were not really part of the
    true Body of Christ. (v 19)
  • People who refuse Christ refuse the Father also.
    (v 22-23)
  • Anybody who does not believe in the Trinity has a
    problem.
  • The person of the Holy Spirit has come upon you,
    verifying to you the truth in Gods word. (v 20)
  • The Holy Spirit lives within you and He reveals
    all truth about situations to you. (v 27)
