Setting up the circuit
Take a power supply and switch to 12V
Plug in a wire from the power supply to the
fuse wire test board
Plug in a wire from the test board to the
ammeter
Plug in wire from the ammeter to the variable
resistor
Plug in a wire from the variable resistor back
to the power supply
The circuit is complete and ready to test a fuse
wire

Look what happens

• As the video starts 2.50A are flowing in the
  circuit.
• Altering the variable resistor increases the
  current flowing.
• At 3.70A the fuse wire starts to glow.
• At 3.95A the fuse wire gets so hot it breaks.
• The circuit has broken the current is 0.00A.
