LÄR- UT Improving Administration of Medication
to the Elderly

• Mål
• Höja kompetensen om äldre och
• läkemedel
• 180 sjuksköterskor och över
• 1000 omvårdnadspersonal har utbildats
• Resultat
• - Ökad uppmärksamhet på
• läkemedelsrelaterade problem
• - Ökat anta läkemedels-
• genomgångar har genomförts
• med hjälp av symtomskattning

• Increase competence in administration of
  drugs to the elderly
• 180 registered nurses and over 1000 assistant
  nurses have been trained
• Outcome
• - Increased awareness of drug-
• related problems
• - Increased number of structured
• reviews of drug treatment

Social documentation

• The aim of the project was to make a model for
  social documentation.
• Representatives from all municipalities in
  Sjuhärad worked together.
• When the model is implemented it will contribute
  to better quality of life for older people.
