Definition
Wikipedia integrity refers to wholeness, in the
sense of unity, consistency, purity,
unspoiledness and uncorruptedness. But what does
that really mean?
Webster's New World Dictionary Integrity as "the
quality or state of being of sound moral
principle uprightness, honesty, and sincerity."
This is interpreted to include, but not limited
to, taking responsibility for one's actions,
truthfulness in dealing with others, and
maintaining confidentiality. Plagiarism (using
others' works without appropriate citations) and
cheating (defrauding, tricking, swindling, or
other forms of dishonesty for personal gain) are
the antithesis of integrity.
Example Encyclopedia Britannica - Passwords
...is specified to be nine digits, they may be
rejected if an update is attempted to assign a
value with more or fewer digits or one including
an alphabetic character.

Accountability And Responsibility
  • Bible Dictionary
  • Integrity is the ability to know we are not only
    doing things right,
  • but that we are doing the right thing . . . in
    all situations.
  • Two components of integrity
  • Accountability - others can count on what I agree
    to
  • Responsibility - the ability to respond and carry
it out what I have agreed to
  • And if we cant follow through, having the
    courage enough to be
  • honest and let the other person know the reason
    why.

10 Values Of Integrity
Principle 1 2 Samuel 12 Nathan and David
Recognize that people want to have a
relationship with someone they trust when trust
is at the core of an individual, it is easy to
recognize. Trust defined is assured reliance on
the character, ability, strength, and truth of a
person.
Principle 2 Accountability Partners
Jonathon and David Have a few people that you can
be willing to be vulnerable with. Ask for
opinions and feedback from them that you have a
trusted relationship with.
Principle 3 Matthew 18 21-35 Regardless of
the circumstances, do everything in your power to
gain the forgiveness and trust of past
friendships, particularly if something has gone
awry. Do what you can to reclaim any lost
relationship by honoring all commitments and
obligations.
Principle 4 Eye ball to eye ball Be clear and
concise in your verbal, oral, and body language
communications. Be precise and open most
important make sure they do not misrepresent or
misinterpret your caricature.

10 Values Of Integrity
Principle 5 Integrity also involves moral
integrity. Regardless of what appears to be some
superficial ideas of present day conduct,
fundamentally--today as alwaysa leader is one
who genuinely respects the person who keeps his
moral integrity sound, who is trustworthy in
every respect
Principle 6 Genesis 39 8-12 Joseph, in
resisting Potiphar's wife Accountability Take a
hands-on approach in regard to keeping an account
of your activities, not only as a means of
gaining a better feel, but as a resource for any
questionable or dubious activities promptly
Principle 7 I Peter 315 Treat others with
utmost respect (extend grace). Regardless of
differences, positions, titles, ages, or other
types of distinctions, always treat others with
courtesy and respect.

10 Values Of Integrity
Principle 8 II Corinthians 12 9-10 -
(WeaknessGracePerfection) Look for ways to use
your past experiences (especially failures) to
remain involved in others interests and
activities thereby demonstrating that you are a
responsible community contributor. In other
words, stay involved.
Principle 9 Exodus 3 Moses and the Burning
Bush Own your own stuff! Somehow, most people
tend to think that its always someone else fault
for what happens. When you find yourself in that
tight place, rather than trying to slip out of
it, speak your mind and stand your ground. A
credible message needs a credible messenger
because charisma without character is catastrophe.
Principle 10 Hebrews 12 10-13
Righteousness Integrity is not about the end
destination . . . Its all about the journey!
When you make a mistake, you can always get up
out of the dirt, dust yourself off, and get back
in the race. Circumstances dont make you who
you are, they demonstrate who and what you are
made of!

The Journey
Integrity in Action!
During my life, a lot of people have crossed my
path. I always learn a thing or two from everyone
of them. However, there are few instances where
you come across that one someone, almost by
accident, and you say to yourself I dont know
what it is, but this person is different
confident, they exude something unique. It
could be the way they treat everyone, the way
they see the world, the humility they exhibit, or
even better, all of the above.

of what you believe in that something
determines how you will live out your life!
