• Kings Cross station concourse currently a
  temporary building
• Currently operating at full passenger capacity
• Network Rail (Rail Infrastructure body) has
  developed proposals to build a new, larger
  concourse to the west of the station, by 2012
• Planning Application expected by end of 2005
• Requires approval of business case (with LUL
  Phase II) by Office of Rail Regulator, for
  funding
• Interface with Great Northern Hotel and Argent
  Development
