Design Intent Create a single family dwelling on
a small (344 sq. ft.) plot in downtown Tokyo.
Adequate Ventilation was needed to cope with
Japans hot and humid summers, This was achieved
by leaving large open areas connecting the upper
floors, combined with operable skylights this
allows the heat to escape and the sunlight to
reach into the 1st floor.
