19Central Illinois Partnerships
- We are thrilled to support Millikin's program
for the Clinical Nurse Leader. Health care is an
ever changing field of study and practice.
Advancing technology, increasing psychosocial
demands, an aging - population, and an expanding knowledge base,
at the same time that we are projecting a nursing
shortage ------ means we need to develop our
clinician leaders. We need our best and
brightest using enhanced clinical and assessment
skills at the bedside. These Clinical Nurse
Leaders will manage patient care and improve the
quality of care our patients receive. This is
our future. - --Theresa Rutherford, MSN, MBA, RN, Chief
Operating Officer and Chief Nurse Executive, St.
