The Earth Movement

• The movement of the Earth has two effects the
  occurrence of seasons and the differences between
  day and night.
• The four seasons caused by the Earth movement
  are Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
• The position of the sun in relation to the Earth
  causes the Spring/Autumn Equinox and the
  Summer/Winter Solstice.
• Spring Equinox starts 21st March.
• Autumn Equinox starts 23rd September.
• Winter Solstice 21st December.
• Summer Solstice is 21st June.
