The Life Cycle of a Butterfly

• First This is called the egg stage,The mother
  butterfly lays her eggs on a leaf.

• Second This is called the larva stage, The egg
  hatches and out comes the caterpillar. 3

• ThirdThis is the pupa stage, the caterpillar
  will grow and come out of its skin. It is now
  able to produce silk.

Fourth In the Imago stage or the adult stage,
the caterpillar produces silk and attaches it
self to a branch. It looses its skin for the
last time uncovering a very hard form called a
chrysalis.

Fifth The Chrysalis stage is broken and the
Butterfly breaks out.
