AIMS
The aim of this course is to provide the
student with an understanding of the claims
process and the law of insurance applying in
Ireland.

OUTCOMES

• On completion of this course the student should
  be able to
• Manage any type of claim
• Apply the circumstances of a loss and decide
  which policy should apply
• Apply insurance law to a set of circumstances
• Calculate a loss in terms of an insurance policy
• Be aware of the claims making process
