  • Most of the UK population use a computer
    every day but most of us are ill informed about
    the potential dangers that nasty germs breeding
    on our desks can cause.

How Clean is your Computer?
  • What was the original colour of your keyboard?
  • Has a colleague sneezed or coughed on your
    telephone?
  • Do you eat lunch at your desk?
  • Place a piece of white paper underneath your
    keyboard and turn upside down. Take a look at
    what comes out - yuck!

Meet the Germs
  • Salmonella - bacteria that causes severe and
    prolonged diarrhoea, vomiting and fever.
  • E-Coli - bacteria that causes severe abdominal
    cramps, diarrhoea and vomiting.
  • MRSA Superbug - very dangerous bacteria that
    causes skin infections, blood poisoning, heart
    valve infections, urinary tract infections and
    pneumonia.
