• Test out more preventative element of FGC Process
• Direct referral process from School to FGC
  Service, particularly for Amber children

• 2 Schools, Newlands and Newington Primary Schools
• Existing referral criteria plus
• Identified school FGC advisor
• Up to 15 families over academic year
• Routine school data collection, FGC 6m
• Family Group Professionals interviews, FGC 3m
  tracking ECM scores

CHANGES FLOWING FROM FGC EARLY INDICATIONS
Early indications are that FGCs are producing
the following effects Reductions in
professional input of a general nature (talks,
discussions, etc) and reductions of bothering
type interruptions. An increase in matching
family to service, i.e. an appropriately tailored
professional input (e.g. breakfast
clubs) Improved attendance and attainment.
