  • Importance of eating a variety of fruit and

    keep the weight off.

    eat more you have to move more!!!

  • A team from the Tongan Health Society went to
    different churches and deliver nutrition sessions
    and cooking demonstration.

  • Healthy cooking methods is demonstrated to
    members of Orakei Free Church of Tonga. No oil
    or salt is needed, trim fat off meat, use less
    meat and more vegetables, also use vegetable in
    season.

  • Other churches outside of the HVAZ zone.

GET THE BLOOD FLOWING PROGRAMME
  • An Exercise programme had been established at the
    Tongan Health Society which is called Get the
    Blood Flowing Programme. The class is for the
    staff of the THS and anybody from the Public who
    is interested.

Fruit for Sunday School
  • By encouraging children to eat fruit and
    vegetables. Fruit for Sunday School is a new
    initiative for Tongan Church. Sunday School start
    at 10am, 11.40 am is fruit time before the
    service at 12pm. These are children from Otara
    Parish, Otara.
