When can I come to the Library???
  • Before school
  • Open periods
  • Study Halls with a pass
  • Lunch
  • During class with a pass

More important information
  • To use a computer in the library,
  • you MUST have your ID card!
  • Stop at the circulation desk to register and
  • receive a number/letter for a designated
    computer.
  • Printing no charge for up to five pages per
    period, 10 per page for additional pages.
  • Color copies for class 2 per day free, 50 each
    additional page.
  • Photocopying 10 per page/copy. One
    coin-operated black and white copier near
    entrance to Library. Machines do give change.
  • Textbooks are available for students to use in
    the library. Please present your ID to desk to
    borrow the textbook.

How and what can I check out?
  • You MUST have your school ID to check out
  • materials!
  • Books no limit to number of books, however
  • no more than three on one topic. Checkout is
  • for three weeks and books may be renewed.
  • Reference books no checkouts
  • Periodicals/Magazines current displayed copies
    do not circulate. Only back copies may be
    checked out for three school days.
  • Fines 10 per school day. Try to renew before
    the due date in order to avoid a fine.

Behavior guidelines
  • Respect others who are working, reading, studying
    or just looking for a quiet place!
  • Look for/check out books
  • Reading daily newspapers (Sports sections
  • at circulation desk just ask the aide!)
  • Maximum four students to a table
  • Game table for chess or checkers only
  • But please, no food, drink, or cell phones in
    the library!!
  • Socializing areas are in Café and Commons!

    shelved together according to the Dewey
    classification system. The call number refers to
    the subject of the book.
  • Location - east/center of library TALL

  • Located after Fiction collection west side
    Library
  • Magazines current issues located on pillars
    near windows.
  • Ask at circulation desk for older copies.
  • Newspapers (both English and Spanish) in front
    of circulation desk. Ask at desk for sports
    sections.
  • Atlases located at end of Reference shelves
  • Dictionaries on top of Fiction shelves in
    center of the Library
  • and at 423 in the Nonfiction and Reference
    sections.
