  • 12 TDR2 (this presentation)
  • 2 TBS (covered by Mauro)
  • 4 TPSFE (covered by Mauro)
  • 1 JINF (covered by Vladimir)
  • 1 TBP (this presentation)
  • Mechanics
  • All pieces in QM2 phase and waiting for TVT
  • balcony to support cables designed and
    prototype builded
  • We need to test it on the crate

3
TDR2
  • Design frozen and finished in 2002/3
  • EM (3) produced in 2002

TBP
  • TBPv2.0 designed in 2004 by VK QM2 available
  • Include Lecroy bus
  • JINF master Lecroy bus
  • Connector to TPD
  • Tested almost all connections
  • AMSwire
  • Power line
  • Slow controltemp sensor lines not yet tested
  • Should be done in Perugia soon (-gt Mauro)

5
xPD Mechanics
  • TPD and UPD were assembled last year
  • Few problems found
  • Bus bars
  • I-frames isolation

6
xPD Bus Bars (I)
  • Inner bus bars raised 6.5 mm
  • Two new peek washers needed
  • At least 4 different lengths of bolts

7
xPD Bus Bars (II)
  • Assembly drawings will be updated and the
sections views will we enclosed in the drawings.
  • The number of bolts used to mount bus bars will
    be reduced
  • New partlist with correct length and qty of bolts
  • Use copper spacers (Ni plated) only when needed
  • No new peek washers
  • Use shorter bolts

8
I-frames
  • I frames will have a local chamfer to avoid
    short circuit? REISSUE OF DRAWINGS
  • A cho-term foil will be added between the board
and the I frame ( it will be also included on
    assembly drawing and partlist)

9
Tests in Taiwan
  • TVT rescheduled, window now June 15th 2005 -
Sep 30th 2005 (2-4 weeks before on place
    needed!)
  • Hybridloads and a box to accommodate them are
    under production
  • Documents still need to be written!

10
Conclusions/Outlook
  • T-Crate in good shape to go for tests in summer
  • Additional testhardware currently under
    production
  • Manpower for tests still need to be
    specified(Daniel PG)
  • We would like to take T-crate mechanics to Geneva
to vibrate the prototype of the cable-balcony
    with some cables
  • TPD see Mauros presentation
