• Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FMCG
  brand company
• We at Unilever Ice Cream Frozen Food, a
  division of Unilever, the worlds largest
  consumer goods manufacturer, are looking to
  recruit two enthusiastic people to work in our
  Market Insight Department. This will be for a
  period of 12 months commencing in July 2006. One
  role will focus on Frozen Food, the other on Ice
  Cream. Applicants should be numerate and
  confident with numbers, with a high level of
  accuracy. You will be a good communicator and
  decision-maker, with initiative.
• The role
• The positions are based in continuous market
  research (quantitative), as opposed to ad hoc,
  therefore tasks will include
• Supporting the day to day administration and
  function of continuous research within the
  company (scanned retail data from IRI and
  TNS), including database management.
• Actively researching new products and
  promotions in the market and looking at
  competitor activity
• Undertaking any requests and projects as
  briefed by other colleagues, e.g. new product
  evaluations.
• Producing various monthly reports using
  internal and external data sources
• Liasing with the above-mentioned research
  agencies to uphold communications and organise
  database training as necessary
• Requirements
• Grade A in GCSE Mathematics and Grade B in
  English language
• Applicants should have a basic knowledge and
  understanding of Market Research and Branding
• To be studying for a Marketing/Business
  related degree
