community ?

• Large equipment, not mobile or portable
• Requires extensive shielding / major building
  work
• Expensive equipment, therefore justify expense by
  ensuring a high throughput of patients
• Requires a high level of specialist skill to
  acquire and report on the scans produced, not
  always readily available in a community setting
