Leadership in Educational TechnologyCourse
Begins in October 2000
  • During the Technology Leadership Teams Institute
school teams developed a process for creating a
    professional development plan that reflects
research and best teaching practice. This course
will focus on the following areas
  • Leadership
  • Change Process
  • Professional Development
  • Policy Issues for Schools
  • Moving Teachers to Level III in the DoDEA Teacher
    Technology Competencies

12
  • The course is real world oriented and was
designed to provide support to technology
leadership teams who are in the process of
    implementing their professional development plan.
The goal of the professional development plan is
to teach teachers to use technology to support
student learning. Course discussions will focus
toward the integration of technology into
teaching and curriculum. DoDEA will provide
    school technology teams with concepts,
strategies, and tools for carrying out goals of
    their plan.
