ADVANTAGES OF LAND LOCATION
  • ROADS Two lane asphalt roads,
  • bordering site and neighboring cities.

Paved Roads Directly to Industrial Park Site
8
ADVANTAGES OF LAND LOCATION
  • Electrical Power
  • Plentiful electrical power through the
city of Assu within access of project location.

Electrical Lines Running Outside of Roads to Site.
9
ADVANTAGES OF LAND LOCATION
RIO GRANDE DO NORTE The combination of five
feet of top soil, temperature, humidity, and
sunlight, provide excellent growing conditions
for fruits. Located along the equator providing
year round average temperatures of 80 degrees and
sunshine 12 -13 hours each day, 3600 hours per
year. Irrigated fruit cultivation makes harvest
possible any time of the year. Another
advantage is the fact that the Rio Grande Do
Norte is known as the area free of fruit flies,
certificated by the Brazilian Agriculture
Ministry since January 2003, and monitored by the
Fitosanitary Executive Committee of the Rio
Grande do Norte COEX.
10
ADVANTAGES OF LAND LOCATION
  • Railways - New rail system to be constructed from
Mosoro to the Port of Natal with immediate access
within our industrial Park. Construction to
    begin in 2007.
  • Water - 500 hectares has water on site. The
remaining 12,000 hectares will require 6
kilometers of concrete channel to water basin at
    valley to provide irrigation.
  • Immediate Cash Flow Immediate planting of
sunflowers on 450 hectares to be processed for
Petro Bras for bio-fuel, to provide cash flow.
  • Workforce Available - 20,000 employable workers
    in the city of Assu.
  • Internal Support Ultimate commitment and
support of local and city government and
businesses Mayor of Assu, Ronald Da Fonseca
Soares, and Agricultural Development from Sebrae,
Fernando Antonio de Sa Leitao Morais.

Two Sea Ports Available
Seaport Access Two Ports Available Port of
Natal, 120 miles from our site. Sea Port
currently has cold storage and cold storage
shipping. Future Port expansion is planned for
the Port Arera Branca for fruits/vegs/produce
approximately 50 miles from site.
12
PORT OF NATAL
  • 24 Hours of Operation
  • Regular shipping line to Europe.
  • Door to door cold storage.
  • Specializing in the operation of palletized cargo
    and container operation.

PHASE I FARMING OF SUNFLOWERS FOR BIODIESEL
The New Fuel From Brazil
In 2005, Brazil produced 16.5 billion liters of
fuel ethanol (45.2 of the worlds total) with
the US a close second at16.2 billion liters, or
44.5 of the total. Ethanol provides roughly 40
of Brazils non-diesel fuel and 2-3 of US
non-diesel fuel.
18

BIODIESEL, produced mainly from rapeseed, or
sunflower seed, comprises 80 of Europes total
biofuel production. The EU accounted for nearly
89 of all biodiesel production worldwide in
2005.
In Brazil, the government hopes to build on the
success of the ethanol program by expanding the
production of biodiesel. All diesel fuel must
contain 2 biodiesel by 2008 increasing to 5 by
2013 and the government hopes to ensure that poor
farmers in the north and the northeast receive a
fair share of the economic benefits of biodiesel
production. (www.worldwatch.org/mode/4081

A Plan to Juice Up Brazil's Fruit Exports
  • According to the president of the IBRAF, Moacyr
Saraiva Fernandes, Brazil has revenues of US 75
million with juice, pulp and fruit nectar
exports. The target established for 2010 is US
    200 million!
  • Brazil is currently the third largest fruit
producer in the world. It loses only to China and
India. The world fruit market grows 14 a year,
according to information supplied by the ABDI.
Brazil also has a target stipulated for fruit
export. They currently total US 440 million a
year, but should reach US 1 billion by 2010,
according to Fernandes, from the IBRAF.
  • The values do not include the orange juice
sector, whose figures are greater. Brazil is the
greatest exporter of orange juice in the world.
    The sector generates revenues of
  • US 1.5 billion to the country.

PHASE II Tungsten in Steel
  • Tungsten was among the first alloying elements
systematically used - as early as the middle of
the last century - to improve steel properties.
It has been one of the most important alloying
constituents in tool steels and constructional
steels and was added to enhance the properties of
hardness, cutting efficiency and speed of tools.
  • These highly alloyed steels are used primarily in
working, cutting and forming of metal components.
They must thus possess high hardness and
strength, combined with good toughness, over a
    broad temperature range.
  • During World War II, a shortage of tungsten and
an increasing demand for tools forced US and
European steel makers to find a substitute, and
molybdenum was chosen to replace tungsten in
varying percentages. This was also cost efficient
as the price was lower and the atomic weight is
only half that of tungsten (1 Mo is roughly
    equivalent to 2 of W).

Tungsten is added to steel to enhance the
properties of hardness, cutting efficiency and
speed of tools.
23
Most Tungsten concentrates are processed
chemically to ATP (ammonium paratungstate. Secon
dary raw materials like oxidized scrap and
residues are important feed for chemical tungsten
processing. Tungsten scrap due to its high
tungsten content in comparison to ore is a very
valuable raw material. Since ATP is the product
traded in the largest quantity, the market relies
more and more upon the APT quotation as a price
guide.
