- ISO/TC 67/WG 7 and the Oversight Committee (OSC)
NACE TG299 are jointly taking care of the
maintenance process for this standard with the
help of a Maintenance Panel - Background information on the ISO 15156 series
can be obtained from two homepages

11Status Report 2006 ISO/TC 67/WG 7
- Procedure of maintenance
- Users of ISO 15156-1, -2, -3 / NACE MR0175 resp,
propose corrections, changes and/or additions to
the Maintenance Panel (MP). - MP discusses these items and submits suggestions
for acceptable changes/additions to WG 7 / OSC

and decide on technical corrigenda and amendments
of ISO 15156 and NACE MR0175 respectively.
12Status Report 2006 ISO/TC 67/WG 7
- Procedure of maintenance (contd.)
- Based on TC 67 resolution 22 (Pretoria), a
Maintenance Agency (MA) is planned to be formed,
which is subject to the approval of the ISO
Technical Management Board (TMB). - The MA will consist of 5 persons
- the chairman and vice-chairman of the Maintenance
Panel, - the chairman and vice-chairman of NACE TG 299 and
- the convener of ISO TC67 / WG 7
- The MA shall state in separated meetings which
corrigenda or amendments have been agreed upon by
