What is Osteoarthritis?
  • Osteoarthritis is the most common type of
    arthritis, sometimes called degenerative joint
    disease
  • It is a chronic non-infectious disease, in which
    tissue known as cartilage breaks down
  • When the cartilage breaks down, it deteriorates
    causing the bones to rub together triggering pain
    and stiffness
