• Ions for LHC Project
• Beam dynamics, hardware, resources required for
  heavy ions in the LHC and its injector
• chain, from the source (2.5 KeV/u) to
  collisions (2.76 TeV/u).
• In charge of upgrading LEIR (3/4 of I-LHC
  resources)
• Understanding and optimizing Linac3
• Studying issues particular for heavy ions in the
  LHC not exactly compatible with LEI.
• NuFact Discontinued but Keeping in touch so
  as not to lose the acquired experience..
• SPL Front End Design and optimization of the
  Chopper Line, follow-up design RFQ, Linac
• Contributions to LHC optics and CTF3/CLIC
• Major Committees LEI staff chair/are members of
