Optics
HXMA BL Superconducting wiggler-based multiple
purpose hard X-ray beamline (5 40 keV). User
Communities XAFS, microprobe, and diffraction.
Current Status BL optics installation was
started in Sept. 2004, completed in May 2005. The
first mono beam was delivered into the
experimental hutch on April 30, 2005 and first
XAFS spectrum at Cu K-edge was recorded on July
8, 2005. Commissioning and limited amount of
general user experiments in progress.

three different modes - mirror-mono-mirror (5-30 keV)
- mono only (30-40 keV)
- broad band mirror only pink beam (5-30 keV)
