  • Mission - The Tri-County Youth Council exists to
    facilitate or ensure youth services in the
    community through strategic leadership
    collaboration and public-private partnerships.
  • Vision - To create a pathway to economic success
    for Tri-Countys youth through the influence of
    policy and practice. (state)

Retreat and Outcomes
  • January 26, 2001 at the Graham House donated by
    City of Lakewood facilitated by Health Sciences
    and Voc Rehab
  • Outcomes
  • A mechanism will be in place to provide for
    ongoing communication and collaboration within
    the youth council and workforce board across
    three counties.

Outcomes continued.
  • Youth council will collaborative to establish a
    process with the workforce board and state
    council in order to apply economic development
    information for youth.
  • Community will be aware of and use programs and
    services for youth.
  • Programs and services are in place to address the
    diverse interests and needs of youth as career
    options are explored.

  • Build an e-mail distribution list at each youth
    council members work-site. Provide training as
    necessary.

    quarterly reports.
