Image Resolution Needed

• At the typical monitor resolution of 1024x768,
  that gives us 1024 pixels in width, 768 pixels in
  height, and a total of 786,432 pixels.  We need
  at least this many pixels in our source images to
  have a non-pixelated 11 zoom.  If you want to
  zoom in closer, say 21, you will need higher
  resolution source images to prevent pixelization
  in your movie.

• Free from Microsoft with service pack 2
• Allows any combination of still images, digital
  video, digital audio to create a finished digital
  movie.
• Digital video footage from large megapixel
  digital cameras may be used.
• Digital still images may be original pictures,
  scanned images, downloaded images.
• Provides simple transitions, effects, and
  titling.

Freeware Movie Converter

• This utility will convert Quick Time movies to
  Windows AVI files.
• Some digital cameras save movies as Quick Time or
  .mp4. These files must be converted to WMV or AVI
  to be used in Moviemaker.
