What is an adjective?

An Adjective
  • An adjective is a word that modifies, or
    describes, a noun or a pronoun.
  • An adjective describes a person, place, thing, or
    idea.
  • It gives more info about the noun or pronoun.
  • A predicate adjective follows a linking verb and
    modifies the subject of the sentence.
