  chain or web will fall apart.
• Photosynthesis that takes place in producers is
  the first place we see light energy transform
  into energy a living organism can use to carry
  out CLPs.
• As producers are eaten by consumers, there is
  another transfer of energy. Each arrow in a food
  chain or web signifies a transfer of energy.

  destroyed, but only transformed.
• These are actually laws that pertain to the
  entire universe. They are known as the Law of
  Conservation of Energy and the Law of
  Conservation of Matter.
