Why Finger Paint???

• Feels good
• Therapeutic
• Personal connection what is going on inside and
  what is about to happen outside bypass conscious
  intention, to just let things happen
• Love the gooey-gooey feels as the paint oozes
  through their fingers
• Motor skills, eye-hand coordination

Steps to Remember

• Use squeeze bottles or spoons and plates
• First you put a few drops of water onto the table
  and let the paper settle
• Wet the entire paper with a little coating of
  water
• Add paint starting at the top of the paper
• Use utensils/sponges etc. for texture
