Raymond "Ray" Albert Kroc

• October 5, 1902 January 14, 1984
• Kroc was a Czech American businessman who took
  over the small-scale McDonalds Corporation
  franchise in 1954 and built it into the most
  successful fast food operation in the world
• He also owned a baseball team called San Diego
  Padres (starting 1974)

• Borned in Chicago in 1902
• Had alot of jobs before he became rich starting
  whit paper cup seller to band member
• Became a multi-mixer milkshake machine salesman,
  traveling around the world

• He partnered whit the McDonald brothers, afther
  the few years he bought the fast food chain from
  them (2,7 million dollars)
• He invented a many new meals what became popular
  (hulaburger whit pineapple slices) Ray Kroc
  became a very rich man

• Died of heart failure in January 14, 1984 at the
  age of 81
• Kroc was married 3 times
• Toward the end of his life, Kroc used a mobility
  aid to get around, an Amigo mobility vehicle
  (sometimes referred to as a Li'l Rascal)

Krocs highest moments

• Kroc was included in Times 100 The Most
  Important People of the Century and amassed a
  500 million fortune during his lifetime.
• The former Dire Straits released a song about Ray
  Kroc on his 2004 album Shangli-La. It was
  inspired by Ray Kroc's autobiography Grinding it
  out and the starting of McDonald's, using many of
  Mr. Kroc's exact words "Kroc style, boom like
  that."
