2Composition of All iGATE Presentations
- A presentation is divided into three sections
- Cover Slide Choose only one of the four versions
available with the correct logo of your company
and delete all unnecessary covers - Title Slide Use title slides as separators
throughout your presentation to signify when a
new section within your presentation begins - Body/Content Slide Choose any of the slide
default styles that best suits your needs - A slide should never have fewer than three main
bullet points without sub-bullets if so, your
options are to - Transform the content into a graphical depiction
- Transform the content into a paragraph or
statement form - Work the content into another slide where it may
be appropriate - There should never be a solo sub-bullet under a
main bullet (a single sub-bullet is called a
hanging chad)
3Dos and Donts for Working with the Template
- Do
- Do use Title Case for slide titles (the first
letter of each major word is capitalized) - Do use Sentence case for all bullets (the first
word of each sentence is capitalized) - Do use highlight lines like the one illustrated
below to pull out important points
- Dont
- Dont change the font, size, or alignment of the
title - Dont change the color of bullets or sub-bullets
- Dont change the font or color of standard bullet
text - Dont let the titles of slides exceed more than
one line - Dont make changes to the title or slide masters
- Dont add slide transitions or wipes
- Avoid using animations
- Dont use WordArt
- Avoid text rotation
- Avoid shadow and outline fonts styles
- Dont use script fonts
This is an example of a highlight line. Copy and
paste this text block onto your slideto ensure
proper positioning every time.
4Style Issues
- Use colors complimentary to the template,
avoiding bold primary colors and pastels - Stick to Verdana font for main and sub- bullets
- Use fonts in the Arial family for graphics
- Recopy/Paste the logos below when additional
iGATE logos are needed
