• acedia, which means a lack of caring, an aimless
  indifference to ones responsibilities to God and
  to man,
• tristitia, meaning sadness and sorrow leading to
  the final stage of despair, hence its deadly
  nature.

  it is burned up, he will suffer loss he himself
  will be saved, but only as one escaping through
  the flames.
