so listen to it (carefully) Verily! Those on
whom you call besides Allah, cannot create (even)
a fly, even though they combine together for the
purpose. And if the fly snatched away a thing
from them, they would have no power to release it
from the fly. So weak are (both) the seeker and
    the sought.

(so do) His angels, that He may bring you forth
out of darkness into light. And He is ever
    Merciful to the believers

10
Al-Muhaimin The Guardian
  • 548 And We have sent down to you (O Muhammad
pbuh) the Book (this Quran) in truth, confirming
the Scriptures that came before it and Muhaymin
(trustworthy in highness and a witness) over them
(old Scriptures). So judge among them by what
Allah has revealed, and follow not their vain
desires, diverging away from the truth that has
come to you. To each among you, We have
prescribed a law and a clear way. If Allah had
willed, He would have made you one nation, but
that (He) may test you in what He has given you
so compete in good deeds. The return of you (all)
is to Allah then He will inform you about that
in which you used to differ.
  • ( Muhaimin that which testifies the truth that
is therein and falsifies the falsehood that is
    added therein.)

11
Al-Aziz The Victorious The Mighty
  • 487 " To Allah belongs all the forces in the
heavens and the earth. He is Almighty, Most Wise.
  • 5923 " He is Allah, besides Whom there is no

messengers We will certainly drive you out of
our land, unless you come back into our religion.
So their Lord revealed to them We shall
    certainly destroy the wrongdoers
  • 1414 And indeed, We shall make you dwell in
the land after them. This is for him who fears
standing before Me (on the Day of Resurrection or
fears My Punishment) and also fears My Threat
  • 1415 And they (the Messengers) sought victory
and help from their Lord Allah , and every
obstinate, arrogant dictator (who refused to
believe in the Oneness of Allah) was brought to a
    complete loss and destruction. "

13
Al-Mutakabbir The Greatest Highest
  • 3130 This is because Allah is the Truth and that

God the King , the Holy, the Author of Peace,
the Granter of Security, Guardian over all, the

    (with Him)!

    over all things.
  • 461 Allah, it is He Who has made the night for
you that you may rest therein and the day for you
to see. Truly, Allah is full of Bounty to
mankind, yet most of mankind give no thanks.
  • 462 That is Allah, your Lord, the Creator of
all things. There is no God but He. Whence are
    you then turned away?

heavens and the earth glorify Him. And He is the
    All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
  • 6512 Allah is He who created seven heavens, and
of the earth the like thereof. His Command
descends between them , that you may know that
Allah is Possessor of power over all things, and
that Allah encompasses all things in (His)
    knowledge

15
Al-Bari The Maker of Order
  • 5924 " He is Allah, the Creator, the Maker of
all things, the Bestower of forms ( The Fashioner
) To Him belong the Best Names ( His are the

the heavens and the earth glorify Him. And He is
    the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
  • 252 He, Whose is the kingdom of the heavens
and the earth, and Who did not take to Himself a
son, and Who has no associate in the kingdom, and
Who created everything, then ordained ( decreed )
    for it a measure.

16
Al-Musawwir The Shaper of Beauty
  • 5924 " He is Allah, the Creator, the Maker of
all things, the Bestower of forms ( The Fashioner
) To Him belong the Best Names ( His are the

Al-Ghaffar The Forgiving
  • 282 And verily, I am indeed Forgiving to him
who repents, believes (in Me) and does righteous
deeds and then remains constant in doing them,
    (till his death). "
  • 3866 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and
all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the
    Oft-Forgiving."
  • 4042 "You invite me to disbelieve in Allah (and
in His Oneness), and to join partners in worship
with Him of which I have no knowledge, and I
invite you to the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving!
    "
  • 7110 "I said (to them) 'Ask forgiveness from
your Lord Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving "
  • 8514 " And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love ."

18
Al-Qahhar The Subduer
  • 1447 So think not that Allah will fail to keep
His Promise to His Messengers. Certainly, Allah
is All-Mighty, - Lord of Retribution.
  • 1448 On the Day when the earth will be changed
to another earth and so will be the heavens, and
they (all creatures) will appear before Allah,
    the One, the Subduer.
  • 4015 (He is Allah) Owner of High Ranks and
Degrees, the Owner of the Throne. He sends the
Inspiration by His Command to any of His slaves
He wills, that he (the person who receives
inspiration) may warn (men) of the Day of Mutual
Meeting (i.e. The Day of Resurrection).
  • 4016 The day when they come forth. Nothing
concerning them remains hidden from Allah. To
whom belongs the kingdom this day? To Allah, the
    One, the Subduer (of all).

19
Al-Wahhab The Bestower
  • 308 (They say) "Our Lord! Let not our hearts
deviate (from the truth) after You have guided
us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are
    the Bestower."
  • 3808 " Has the Reminder been revealed to him
from among us? Nay, they are in doubt as to My
Reminder. Nay, they have not yet tasted My
    chastisement.
  • 3809 Or have they the treasures of the Mercy
of your Lord, the All-Mighty, the Real Bestower?
  • 3834 " And certainly we tried Solomon, and We
put on his throne a (mere) body, so he turned (to
    Allah in repentance ).
  • 3835 He said " My Lord! Forgive me, and bestow
upon me a kingdom such as shall not belong to any
other after me Verily, You are the Bestower."

20
Ar-Razzaq The Provider Sustainer
  • 464 Allah, it is He Who has made for you the
earth as a dwelling place and the sky as a
canopy, and has given you shape and made your
shapes good (looking) and has provided you with
good things. That is Allah, your Lord, then
blessed be Allah, the Lord of the Alamin
(mankind, jinn and all that exists).
  • 5158 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner
    of Power, the Most Strong.

21
Al-Fattah The Opener (One who opens the doors
of mercy)
  • 352 " That which Allah opens unto mankind of
mercy none can withhold it and that which He
withholds none can release thereafter. He is the
AlMighty, the Most Wise . "

22
Al-Alim The Knower of All
  • 324 Allah it is He Who has created the heavens
and the earth and all that is between them in
six Days. Then He rose over (Istawa ) the Throne
(in a manner that suits His Majesty). You
(mankind) have none, besides Him, as a Wali
(protector or helper) or an intercessor. Will you
not then remember (or receive admonition)?
  • 325 He manages and regulates (every) affair from
the heavens to the earth then it (affair) will
go up to Him, in one Day, the space whereof is a
thousand years of your reckoning (i.e. reckoning
    of our present worlds time).
  • 326 " That is He, the All-Knower of the unseen
and the seen, the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. "

23
Al-Qabid The Constrictor
  • 2245 " Who is he that will offer to Allah a
goodly gift so that He may multiply it to him
many times? And it is Allah that decreases or
increases (your provisions), and unto Him you
    shall return."
  • 2962 " Allah enlarges the provision for whom He
wills of His slaves, and straitens it for whom
(He wills). Verily, Allah is the All-Knower of
    everything."
  • 3037 " Do they not see that Allah enlarges
the provision for whom He wills and straitens (it
for whom He wills). Verily, in that are indeed
signs for a people who believe."

24
Al-Basit The Reliever
  • 941 "Have We not opened your breast for you O
    Muhammad pbuh ?
  • 942 And removed from you your burden
  • 943 Which had weighed upon your back
  • 944 And have We not raised high your fame?
  • 945 Verily, along with every hardship is
    relief,
  • 946 Verily, along with every hardship is relief
( with one hardship there is immense relief )
  • 947 So when you have finished (your
occupation), devote yourself for Allah's worship.
  • 948 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your)
    intentions and hopes."

25
Al-Khafid The Abaser
  • 561 When the Event (i.e. the Day of
    Resurrection) befalls.
  • 562 And there can be no denying of its
    befalling.
  • 563 It will bring low (some) (and others) it
    will exaltAbasing (some), exalting (others).
  • 954 Verily, We created man of the best stature
    (mold),
  • 955 Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of
    the low
  • 956 Except those who believe and do good so
theirs is a reward never to be cut off.

26
Ar-Rafi The Exalter
  • 414 So call upon Allah, being sincere to Him in
obedience, though the disbelievers may hate it.
  • 415 The Exalter of Ranks, the Lord of the
Throne. He causes the Spirit of His command upon
whom He will of His slaves, that He may warn of
    the Day of Meeting,
  • 5811 O you who believe, when it is said to you,
Make room in assemblies, make room. Allah will
give you ample. And when it is said, Rise up,
rise up. Allah will exalt those of you who
believe and those who are given knowledge to high
ranks. And Allah is Aware of what you do.
  • 683 And that was Our Proof which We gave
Ibrahim (Abraham) against his people. We raise
whom We will in degrees. Certainly your Lord is
    All-Wise, All-Knowing

27
Al-Muizz The Bestower of Honors
  • 326 Say O Allah! Owner of Sovereignty! You
give sovereignty unto whom You will, and You
withdraw sovereignty from whom You will You
exalt whom You will, and You abase whom You will.
In Your hand is the good. Lo! You are Able to do
all things You are Possessor of power over all
    things.
  • 4139 Those who take disbelievers for Auliya'
(protectors or helpers or friends) instead of
believers, do they seek honor, power and glory
with them? Verily, then to Allah belongs all
    honor, power and glory.

28
Al-Mudhill The Humiliator
  • 326 Say O Allah! Owner of Sovereignty! You give
sovereignty unto whom You will, and You withdraw
sovereignty from whom You will You exalt whom
You will, and You abase whom You will. In Your
hand is the good. Lo! You are Able to do all
things You are Possessor of power over all
    things.

know that you cannot escape Allah and that Allah
    will disgrace the disbelievers.

29
As-Sami The Hearer of All

foundations of the House ( saying ) " Our Lord,
accept from us surely You are the Hearing , the
    All-Knowing " .
  • 222 And make not Allah's (Name) an excuse in
your oaths against your doing good and acting
piously, and making peace among mankind. And
    Allah is All- Hearer, All-Knower
  • 2256 There is no compulsion in religion.
Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from
the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in Taghut and

trustworthy handhold that will never break. And
    Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.

30
Al-Basir The Seer of All
  • 315 Shall I tell you of what is better than
these? For those who guard against evil are
Gardens with their Lord, in which rivers flow, to
abide in them, pure companions and Allahs goodly
pleasure. And Allah is Seer of the servants.
  • 458 Verily! Allah commands that you should
render back the trusts to those, to whom they are
due and that when you judge between men, you
judge with justice. Verily, how excellent is the
teaching which He (Allah) gives you! Truly, Allah
    is Ever All-Hearer, All-Seer.
  • 4211 The Creator of the heavens and the earth.
He has made for you mates from yourselves, and
for the cattle (also) mates. By this means He
creates you (in the wombs). There is nothing like
Him, and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.

31
Al-Hakam The Judge
  • 2268 "And if they contend with you (o Muhammad
pbuh ) say Allah best knows what you do. "
  • 2269 "Allah will judge between you on the Day
of Resurrection about that wherein you used to
    differ."

32
Al-Adl The Just
  • 1690 " Verily, Allah enjoins Al-Adl (justice)
and doing of good giving (help) to kith and kin
and forbids evil deeds ( e.g. illegal sexual
acts, disobedience of parents, polytheism, to
tell lies, to give false witness, to kill a life
without right oppression He admonishes you,
that you may take heed. ( Surely Allah enjoins
justice and the doing of good ( to mankind) and
the giving to the kindred and He forbids
indecency lewdness evil and rebellion. He
admonishes you that you may be mindful.)

    Well-Acquainted with all things . "
  • 2263 " See you not that Allah sends down water
(rain) from the sky, and then the earth becomes
green? Verily, Allah is the Most Kind and
Gracious, Well-Acquainted with all things. "
  • 3116 " O my son, even if it be the weight of a
grain of mustard-seed, even though it be in a
rock, or in the heaven or in the earth, Allah
will bring it forth. Surely Allah is Knower of
    subtleties, Aware. "

34
Al-Khabir The All-Aware
  • 4913 " O mankind, surely We have created you
from a male and a female, and made you tribes and
families that you may know each other. Surely the
noblest of you with Allah is the most dutiful of
you. Surely Allah is Knowing, Aware. "
  • 5918 " O you who believe! Fear Allah and keep
your duty to Him. And let every person look to
what he has sent forth for the morrow, and fear
Allah. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
  • 6714 " Should not He Who has created know? And
He is the Most Kind and Courteous (to His slaves)
    All- Aware (of everything). "

35
Al-Halim The Forbearing
  • 3541 Verily! Allah grasps the heavens and the
earth lest they move away from their places, and
if they were to move away from their places,
there is not one that could grasp them after Him.
Truly, He is Ever Most Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving.

36
Al-Azim The Magnificent
  • 2255 " Allah! none has the right to be
worshipped but He, the Ever Living, the One Who
sustains and protects all that exists. Neither
slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs
whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on
earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him
except with His Permission? He knows what happens
to them (His creatures) in this world, and what
will happen to them in the Hereafter. And they
will never compass anything of His Knowledge
except that which He wills. His Kursi extends
over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no
fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He
is the Most High, the Most Great. "
  • 424 " To Him belongs all that is in the heavens
and all that is in the earth, and He is the Most
    High, the Most Great. "

37
Al-Ghafur The Forgiver of faults
  • 258" And when We said "Enter this town
(Jerusalem) eat bountifully there in with
pleasure and delight whatever you wish, and enter
the gate in prostration saying 'Forgive us,'
and We shall forgive you your sins and shall
increase (reward) for the good doers."
  • 4130 " Those who say, Our Lord is Allah, then
continue in the right way, the angels descend
upon them, saying Fear not, nor be grieved, and
receive good news of the Garden which you were
    promised.
  • 4131 We are your friends in this worlds life
and in the Hereafter, and you have therein what
your souls desire and you have therein what you
    ask for
  • 4132 A welcome gift from the Forgiving, the
    Merciful "

38
Ash-Shakur Rewarder of Thankfulness
  • 3529 " Surely those who recite the Book of Allah
( The Holy Quran ) and keep up prayer and spend
out of what We have given them, secretly and
openly, hope for a gain which does not perish.
  • 3530 That He may pay them back fully their
rewards and give them more out of His Grace.
Surely He is Oft-Forgiving, Multiplier of reward
    ,Most Appreciative , Responsive.
  • 3534 And they will say "All the praises and
thanks be to Allah, Who has removed from us (all)
grief. Verily, our Lord is indeed Oft-Forgiving,
Most Ready to appreciate (good deeds and to
    recompense). Multiplier of reward,Most
    Appreciative . "
  • 6417 Whatever goodly portion you set apart in
Allah's way (i.e. spend in Allah's Cause) He will
double it for you, and will forgive you. And
Allah is Most Ready to appreciate and to reward (
Multiplier of rewards), Most Forbearing (Lenient,
    Tolerant ) Most Clement ( Lenient , Merciful ).

39
Al-Ali The Highest
  • 313 This is because Allah is the Truth, and that
which they call upon besides Him is falsehood,
and that Allah is the Most High, the Most Great.
  • 423 Likewise Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise
inspires you as (He inspired) those before you.
  • 424 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens
and all that is in the earth, and He is the Most
    High, the Most Great. "
  • 4251 " It is not given to any human being that
Allah should speak to him unless (it be) by
Inspiration, or from behind a veil, or (that) He
sends a Messenger to reveal what He wills by His
Leave. Verily, He is Most High, Most Wise. "

40
Al-Kabir The Greatest

your place, and you cannot do Him any harm.
Surely my Lord is the Preserver of all things. "

42
Al-Muqit The Nourisher
  • 4110 " He placed therein (the earth) firm
mountains from above it and He blessed it and
measured therein its sustenance (for its
dwellers) in four Days equal for all those who
    ask (about creation). "
  • ( And He made in it ( earth ) mountains above its
surface, and He blessed therein and ordained
therein its foods ( for dwellers ) in four days
    alike for (all) seekers. ")

43
Al-Hasib The Accounter
  • 46 And try orphans (in intelligence) until they
reach the age of marriage if then you find sound
judgement in them, release their property to
them, but consume it not wastefully hastily
fearing that they should grow up whoever
amongst guardians is rich, he should take no
wages, but if he is poor, let him have for
himself what is just and reasonable when you
release their property to them, take witness in
their presence Allah is All-Sufficient in
    taking account.
