11There Is a Habitation
- There is a habitation,

- No night is there, no sorrow,
- No death, and no decay
- No yesterday, no morrow
- But one eternal day.
16There Is a Habitation
- O Zion, Zion
- I long thy gates to see

19Heaven is a Real Place
- (John 141-3) 1 Let not your hearts be
troubled. Believe in God believe also in me. 2
In my Father's house are many mansions. If it
were not so, would I have told you that I go to
prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and
prepare a place for you, I will come again and
will take you to myself, that where I am you may
be also. - (Psalms 247-10) Return of Christ after His
victory over death Ancient Gates eternal city
of God

26As Beautiful as the Paradise that Was Lost
- Complete story of the Bible concludes with Heaven
- Genesis
- Mankind looses his paradise
- Lost the right to the Tree of Life
- Revelation
- Mankind regains his paradise through Christ
- Again has the right to the Tree of Life!
27 1 Then the angel showed me the river of the
water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from
the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 through the
middle of the street of the city also, on either
side of the river, the tree of life with its
twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each
month. The leaves of the tree were for the
healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be
anything accursed, but the throne of God and of
the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will
worship him. 4 They will see his face, and his
name will be on their foreheads. 5 And night will
be no more. They will need no light of lamp or
sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and
they will reign forever and ever.
(Rev 221-5)
28Where the Soul Never Dies
- To Canaan's land I'm on my way,
- Where the soul (of man) never dies
- My darkest night will turn to day,
- Where the soul (of man) never dies.
29Where the Soul Never Dies
- No sad farewells,
- Dear friends, there'll be no sad farewells,
- No tear dimmed eyes,
- There'll be no tear-dimmed eyes
- Where all is love,
- Where all is peace and joy and love,
- And the soul never dies
- And the soul of man never dies
30Where the Soul Never Dies
- A rose is blooming there for me,
- Where the soul (of man) never dies
- And I will spend eternity,
- Where the soul (of man) never dies.
31Where the Soul Never Dies
- No sad farewells,
- Dear friends, there'll be no sad farewells,
- No tear dimmed eyes,
- There'll be no tear-dimmed eyes
- Where all is love,
- Where all is peace and joy and love,
- And the soul never dies
- And the soul of man never dies
32Where the Soul Never Dies
- I'm on my way to that fair land,
- Where the soul (of man) never dies
- Where there will be no parting hand,
- Where the soul (of man) never dies.
33Where the Soul Never Dies
- No sad farewells,
- Dear friends, there'll be no sad farewells,
- No tear dimmed eyes,
- There'll be no tear-dimmed eyes
- Where all is love,
- Where all is peace and joy and love,
- And the soul never dies
- And the soul of man never dies
34The Children of Godwill Call It Home
- Like Abraham, we are pilgrims passing through
- (Heb 119-10) 9 By faith he went to live in the
land of promise, as in a foreign land, living in
tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the
same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to
the city that has foundations, whose designer and
builder is God.
35The Children of Godwill Call It Home
- We too long for that which is better
- (Heb 1114-16) 14 For people who speak thus
make it clear that they are seeking a homeland.
15 If they had been thinking of that land from
which they had gone out, they would have had
opportunity to return. 16 But as it is, they
desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one.
Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their
God, for he has prepared for them a city.
36This World is Not My Home
- This world is not my home,
- I'm just a passing thru.
- My treasures are laid up
- somewhere beyond the blue
- The angels beckon me
- from heaven's open door,
- And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.
37This World is Not My Home
- O Lord, you know I have no friend like you,
- If heaven's not my home
- Then Lord what will I do
- The angels beckon me
- From heaven's open door,
- And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.
38This World is Not My Home
- Just up in glory-land
- We'll live eternally,
- The saints on every hand
- Are shouting victory,
- Their song of sweetest praise
- Drift back from heaven's door
- And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.
39This World is Not My Home
- O Lord, you know I have no friend like you,
- If heaven's not my home
- Then Lord what will I do
- The angels beckon me
- From heaven's open door,
- And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.
40How Beautiful Heaven Must Be!
- What have we seen?
- Dwelling Place of God
- Paradise
- Land of rest from the torture of sin
- Land of rest from our labors on this earth
- Land of reunion of brothers and sisters that have
gone on before us - Everlasting Life
- HOME!!!
41 1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for
the first heaven and the first earth had passed
away, and the sea was no more. 2 And I saw the
holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of
heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for
her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the
throne saying, Behold, the dwelling place of God
is with man. He will dwell with them, and they
will be his people, and God himself will be with
them as their God. 4 He will wipe away every tear
from their eyes, and death shall be no more,
neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor
pain anymore, for the former things have passed
away.
(Rev 211-4)
42Heaven Will Come After Judgment
- (2 Cor 51-5) 1 For we know that if the tent,
which is our earthly home, is destroyed, we have
a building from God, a house not made with hands,
eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this tent we
groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling, 3
if indeed by putting it on we may not be found
naked. 4 For while we are still in this tent, we
groan, being burdened not that we would be
unclothed, but that we would be further clothed,
so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by
life. 5 He who has prepared us for this very
thing is God, who has given us the pledge of the
Spirit.
43After Death, What Then?
- This life will end some future day,
- Another life will then begin
- Are you prepared for that event,
- Just after death, What then?
44After Death, What Then?
- Just after death, O answer me,
- Where will you spend eternity?
- When time on earth shall cease to be,
- Just after death, What then?
45After Death, What Then?
- The saved will have eternal life,
- And they will safely enter in
- To share the glories of the Lord,
- Just after death, What then?
46After Death, What Then?
- Just after death, O answer me,
- Where will you spend eternity?
- When time on earth shall cease to be,
- Just after death, What then?
47After Death, What Then?
- The lost will go into despair,
- Their torment there will then begin
- They'll cry for mercy from the Lord,
- Just after death, What then?
48After Death, What Then?
- Just after death, O answer me,
- Where will you spend eternity?
- When time on earth shall cease to be,
- Just after death, What then?
49Where Will You Stand After Death?
- Have you been obedient to the Gospel of Christ?
- (Rom 116-17) 16 For I am not ashamed of the
gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation
to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and
also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness
of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is
written, The righteous shall live by faith.
