Izanagi (Izanaki) The creator god and maker of the Japanese islands.
Izanami The creator goddess and wife of Izanagi.
Amaterasu The sun goddess.
Susanowo (Susanoh) The storm god.
Tsuki-yomi The moon god who used to live with Amaterasu in the sky.
