the benefits of joining sisterhood to different
    populations of non-members.
  • Send a calendar of events with an invitation to
    attend one program for free.

Marketing Sisterhood
  • Ask the rabbi to announce sisterhood gifts to the
congregation from the bimah for example, funds
to repair the roof or purchase new prayer books.
  • Use social media, i.e. Facebook, to reach out to
    members and publicize sisterhood programming.
  • Use powerful testimonials in your marketing
    materials to encourage membership.

Even though I have young children and a very
packed schedule, I always made time to come to
sisterhood events. It gives me a much needed
break and allows me to connect with other women
my age in a meaningful way. Sisterhood
membership is worth every penny. Ive made
friends with women of all ages from the
congregation and gotten so much out of our social
action projects. It feels good having fun and
making a difference at the same time.
