Methods of Data Entry - Inputs
A Portable Data Entry Terminal (PDET) may be
carried around and used to enter data either by
keying or using a built-in bar-code reader.
Bar codes are read using a Bar Code Reader, which
can be in the form of a hand-held wand or a
stationary laser scanner over which the bar code
is passed.
Keyboards are designed for the input of text and
characters
