Release 5.1 New Features

• Single Product Search Box
• Displaying all Hosted Catalog Suppliers -Browse
  by Supplier
• Supported Browsers for Mac users

Single Product Search Box

• Provide a simpler interface for users to perform
  a product search
• Introduces the notion of a standard search and
  advanced search
• All users will have Single Search box on first
  login in 5.1
• Search remembers the users last search setting
  (i.e. single box versus advanced search)
• Single Product Search box is only available in
  the All category. Category-specific searches
  are considered advanced searches (e.g. Office
  Supplies)
• User can toggle between standard and advanced
  search

Displaying All Hosted Catalog Suppliers - Browse
by Supplier

• This feature provides quick access to all active
  Hosted Catalog Suppliers on a single page through
  the existing Browse By Supplier link located on
  both the Home Page and the Search Tools sections.
• By default, the list of Hosted Catalog suppliers
  is displayed automatically when the user clicks
  Browse by Supplier.
• The list of suppliers will be displayed with the
  following standard columns
• Supplier Profile
• Type
• Preference

Supported Browsers for Mac Users

• IE for the Mac will no longer be supported by
  SciQuest and does not work for most punch-out
  sites.
• Mac users will need to use Netscape or FireFox to
  place orders via the M-marketsite.
• Mac users can use Safari only if the security
  setting are set to Accept Cookies Always which is
  not the default setting.
