COMPUTER CARE
  • Never eat or drink near the computer.
  • Only use your own number to log in.
  • Always log off when finished.
  • No writing on the equipment.
  • Wait for permission to print.

  • CPU (central processing unit) - the brains of
    the computer
  • MONITOR - the screen
  • KEYBOARD the instrument used for typing
  • MOUSE the instrument used for moving the cursor
    and making choices

TROUBLESHOOTING
  • If something is not working check to see if it
    plugged in properly and turned on.
  • If the printer is not working make sure it has
    paper.
  • Check to see if you are in the right program.
  • Raise your hand and ask for help.

    dont click on it without checking with an adult.
  • These can all slow down, harm, or crash your
    system. Your personal information could also be
    at risk.

INTERNET SAFETY
  • If you come to a site that is inappropriate you
    should
  • Click the home icon
  • Turn off the monitor
  • Notify an adult
  • Some sites are blocked or filtered for your
    safety or due to inappropriate material.
