Title: Variety Trials
1Variety Trials
The 2004 variety testing season was a challenge
for most varieties. Early rains affected root
development which affected yields. Blue mold was
a challenge for many producer and for the variety
trials. Newer varieties like KT 204, KT 200, NC
2002, NC 6 faired very well in these adverse
conditions as well as KY 14 x L8 and N126.
