• Hand made in 700AD by monks on Lindisfarne Island

  Northumberland in north east England and
• its called
• Holy Island

More info about the book

• Its written on vellum with quill pens
• It contains the four gospels from the New
  Testament of the Christian Bible.

Its beautifully decorated

• Each gospel has lots of decorated lettering

• Each of the four gospels is introduced by a fully
  decorated page that looks a bit like a carpet

• Make sure that all of the patterns are included
