Preperation

• Verify your modem is connected to the internet.
• Unplug the power to the modem
• Connect the ethernet cable from the output of the
  modem to the Internet input of the router.
• Plug in the power to the modem and the power to
  the router.

Connect to the Router

• Plug in an Ethernet cable from the computers
  Ethernet connection to one of the 4 connections
  of the router OR
• Connect to the router by selecting INTELLINET
  from the list of available wireless networks on
  your computer.

• Open an internet browser. For demonstration
  purposes, we are using Google Chrome here.
  Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari may also be
  used.
• In the address bar, type 192.168.2.1 and hit
  the Enter key on your keyboard or click the Go
  button to continue.

• In the Authentication window, type the username
  admin and the password 1234 then click the
  Login button.

• Click the General Setup button on the left to
  setup your wireless network.

• Click Wireless on the left hand side to access
  wireless settings.

• Verify your wireless is set to enable and then
  click Basic Settings on the left to open basic
  wireless settings.

• In the ESSID box, type the name for your wireless
  network. (i.e. Smith or Smith Realty) Then
  click the Apply button.

• Click the Continue button to save your changes
  and continue working.

• Click the Close at the top of the tab to close
  the tab/window and continue working with the
  General Setup screen.

• Click Security Settings on the left to setup
  your wireless security.

• Below is the recommended settings for your
  wireless security. The passphrase should be
  something you can easily remember. I recommend
  using a cell phone number with area code and no
  dashes. (i.e. 4175555555). When completed, click
  the Apply button.

• If you have more settings to adjust, click
  Continue. Otherwise click the Apply button to
  save your changes and complete your setup.

• The OK! button will countdown as the changes
  are being saved. If the ESSID was changed, you
  may be required to log into the new network name
  upon completion of this step.

• Upon completion, you can now click the OK!
  button and close the browser. You may be required
  to log into the network again.

• CONGRADULATIONS!
• You have now completed the setup of your
  INTELLINET Wireless Router.
