MADD- Mothers Against Drunk Driving

    nationwide. MADD is not a crusade against alcohol
    consumption - MADD's mission is to stop drunk
    driving, support the victims of this violent

  • You can have students of all ages create a poster
    to be submitted to the LCB
  • You can also have students create these posters
    to decorate the classroom
  • Those who can not draw or do not want to draw can
    come up with a slogan
  • Students can also come up with a poem

  • It is my belief that one of the best steps in
    creating a prevention program is to first address
    self-esteem
  • Girl Power Provides excellent journals for your
    female students to write in
  • Provides activities for females to demonstrate
    self-esteem and self-efficacy

MADD Safe Party Guide
  • Social Host Responsibility
  • Never serve alcohol to someone under the legal
    drinking age, and never ask children to serve
    alcohol at parties
  • Dont let guests mix their own drinks-
    bartender should keep track of size and number
    of drinks
  • Never force a drink on a guest
  • Close the bar 90 minutes before the party ends
  • Drive a drunk guest home, get him/her a ride with
    a SOBER guest, call a taxi, or invite to stay
    over

Continue- Non-Alcoholic Party Drinks
  • Holiday Punch-
  • 1 large jar car-grape juice
  • 1 liter bottle ginger ale
  • 1 container orange sherbet
  • whole cranberries
  • Combine juice and gingerale. Add sherbet by
    small scoops. (top with cranberries)

Mild-Eyed Margarita
  • 2 cups lemon or lime soda
  • 2 T sugar
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • Salt
  • Crushed Ice
  • Pour soda into ice cube tray or shallow pan,
    freeze. Place into blender, add lime juice and
    sugar. Blend. Line glass w/ salt
