    art.

  • Makeup was a very important part of Egyptian
    culture, and Egyptians frequently stretched their
    earlobes to accommodate ornate pieces of jewelry

Otzi the Iceman
  • When a preserved man was found encased in ice in
    the 1990s it was found that the man had
    approximately 57 tattoos of dots and designs, and
    had a pierced septum.
  • The iceman was believed to have lived in 3300 BC.

  • Many different tribes and cultures have painted
    their bodies for different reasons, whether it be
    for war, celebration, or decoration.
